these days i see fatimah dance around and smile all the time and i wish i could do the same. and not have things the way they are. to have no care in the world. she'll never have to have a care in the world. things will be taken care of.

this is life, this is real - this is unfair.

i think this is what growing up is all about. this world is a lot more horrible than we bargained for, and the older you grow the more you learn and more ugly people become.

and this is us at 18, imagine how much MORE we'll know in ten years or so.
